I felt very bad.

Last Friday I stayed in bed. I felt very bad. I couldn't play basketball this afternoon and I couldn't go out anywhere. I tried to study, but it was impossible. I had a terrible headache because my little cousin didn't stop shouting and going to my bed. I slept during for hours and later I woke up, I had dinner and again I went to bed to sleep ten hours more. On Saturday, I felt better because I went to the doctor and I could play with my cousin.

My new year's resolutions

I really like to study Italian. So this year, I am going to do this. I am going to go to my high school in thr morning, but in the afternoon I am going to go to an Italian academy in Seville. I will go two hours a day. Five years later, I will know to speak Spanish, English, French, Latin, Greek and Italian. My other resolution is to teach English to mu brother. But it is more difficult, he won't leave me to teach him anything.

First day at the high school

I remember when it was the first time I went to the high school. I thought it looked like another world.
I went with my class and my teachers. There were other classes from others schools. There were many strange girls, they looked at everyone from the head to the feet.
We went around the whole the center, we saw everything. The laboratiories were great! The teachers taught us the instruments. If someone saw us in this moment, he would say we were silly.
Later, we had breakfast, and we came back to our home.

My experience.

Two years ago, it was the first time my class and me were learning French. We had an advanced book, but we didn't know any French. The teacher looked like a sergeant. She shouted at us until she was hoarse.
When she asked someone, this got his/her face white and I was thinking he or she wasn't from this planet.
My friends were afraid these days because we had French lessons. We didn't want to go to the high school.
Many people failed French.
Now, this year, everybody knows how to speak French, but only few people like it.

Me :)

Hi! My namé's Rocío. I'm fifteen. I live in Coria del Río. I'm studying at the virtual school because during last week it was snowing, now it's sunny, but the news show it will snow for two months. The teachers didn't want us to lose classes, so we are studying at the virtual school. I think we will study here every winter.

I'm tall, I've got long fair hair and fair skin, I've got big brown eyes.
I'm shy but I'm loyal. I'm optimistic and serious when I must be it.

I like going out with my friends, listening to music and doing sport. I'm competitive and sporty too. If I can, I will do sport every day all the day. But I really like staying with my friends, all the day, we are laughting by insignificant something.

For Martha

Dear Martha,
Next Sunday is my mum's birthday and my father and I think we are going to give her a surprise. She really likes Almería, and we're just paid to a hotel for us to stay there all the weekend.
My brother is going to go to my grandmother's house with my mum. I am going to pack our bags and my father is going to clean our home.
When we arrive, we are going to sleep, but later we'll go to the beach. We are going to visit the city, we're going to eat at all restaurants. My father and I will take part in a swimming competition in the sea, my brother wiil collect shells and play with the sand...
At night, the hotel wiil celebrate a dance or a concert or something special.
The travel will b e great! I'm waiting for my mum's face...!
Next day, I will tell you all!
Kisses, Rocío.

E-mail to Cristina

Dear Cristina,

Welcome to Seville my friend! I'm very nervious waiting for you to arrive. This is a fantastic town. There are very important historic monuments, but apart, from that, you can find many things you can do. There are playgrounds, cinemas, restaurants, offices to work, bus and train stations... If you want, we will meet in your apartamentt and we will see the shops and go to the cinema.
Seville is too large, so there is a litlle train that goes around in the town. The small train arrives to many places in Seville.
I will show you the popular dances and the tipical food too. Seville was the capital of Spain during much time, an today it's the capital of Andalucía.
Many people from many countries came to see Seville.
I'm waiting for you!

Your friend, Rocío.
